— The Problem
If you’re here, something probably hasn’t fully healed. Maybe it gets better. Then you start using it again. And the pain, stiffness, or irritation comes right back.
Possibly you’ve already tried PT, rest, injections, or medication. When relief doesn’t stick, we start looking at why the tissue keeps getting stuck in the same cycle.
Things just don’t move like they used to — whether it’s your shoulder, back, knee, or neck. That restriction is often tied to irritated tissue or build up of scar tissue. SoftWave helps improve mobility by targeting those areas deeply and directly.
It calms down for a bit — but never fully goes away. Often a sign the tissue hasn’t fully healed. SoftWave helps stimulate a stronger repair response within the tissue of your area of pain.
The same annoying spot keeps flaring up again and again — hamstring, heel, shoulder, elbow, you name it. SoftWave targets the underlying tissue quality so you’re not just managing the next flare-up.
Pain shows up when you lift, reach, squat, or rotate — but settles at rest. That often points to irritated or overloaded tissue, and SoftWave helps calm that triggered response while supporting repair.
When that nagging soreness, tenderness, or swelling never fully leaves the area. SoftWave steps in to help improve circulation and reduce inflammatory patterns so the tissue can calm down and recover.
SoftWave doesn’t “heal” the tissue itself. The energy pulse acts more like a biological wake-up call — creating a controlled stimulus that encourages your body to respond.
That response can increase local blood flow, support collagen production, and activate repair processes in irritated tissue
The important work continues after the session ends. As your body responds, circulation, cellular activity, and tissue remodeling continue over time — helping improve tissue quality and calm inflammatory patterns that may have kept the area stuck.
— What it actually does
SoftWave delivers short, controlled bursts of electrohydraulic energy into irritated or damaged tissue.
Unlike many other shockwave devices, SoftWave is designed to create a broader and deeper therapeutic healing zone, allowing us to reach more of the involved tissue when appropriate.
As we move through the area, your body’s response to those pulses also helps us identify sensitive pain points and build a diagnostic pain map around the source of your pain.
01
Reveals the exact pain points in and around the source of the issue, which guides us to better targeting and deeper more accurate healing.
02
Delivers oxygen and nutrients to flush out inflammation to where they’re needed and begin the process of tissue repair.
03
Activates and signals the production of the building blocks of the body (collagen) — to support real biological rebuild.
04
Disrupts adhesions and scar tissue and supports rebuilding healthier tissue over time.
— Matching the Right Therapy
Some conditions and patterns make our patients strong candidates for SoftWave.
Patients dealing with other patterns or conditions simply means we carefully evaluate before deciding to treat.
— Expected outcomes
SoftWave doesn’t do the healing for you. It gives your body a controlled, non-invasive stimulus designed to reactivate the repair processes it already naturally knows how to run.
What matters is how your tissue responds and progresses between sessions. This is where we start our check-ins at the beginning of each visit.
The first 2–3 sessions reveal how your body responds and guide what frequency or changes comes next.
8–12 sessions is typically where full benefits show up for our patients; as each treatment compounds.
The goal isn’t temporary relief — it’s helping your body continue rebuilding healthier tissue.
We’ll find the right fit fast — whether that’s another therapy in our 3 – Point Healing System (Decompression or Precision Adjustments), or referring you to a specialist from our trusted preferred provider network.

— Your First Visit
We assess how your tissue initially responds in your Discovery Session. Then identify whether SoftWave is appropriate for your case, and only after a collaborative discussion and mutual agreement do we move forward with treatment.
Here’s Exactly What To Expect.↓
We start by seeing how your pain behaves (or misbehaves)— what triggers it, what helps, & how long it’s been an issue. Then we assess tissue quality, mobility and joint fucntion to see if SoftWave is the right fit.
We position you comfortably, talk about the “biofeedback loop” & calibrate the intensity based on your eval and area of pain. We typically treat one area per session to keep the healing response focused.
As controlled pulses move deeply into the target area of the tissue, your biofeedback helps us identify sensitive areas & build a diagnostic pain map — all the while stimulating the body’s natural repair process.
We reassess how the area responded, then review what you felt and what we discovered. At your follow-up, we confirm whether SoftWave is the right next step and outline the plan, timeline, and expectations.

SoftWave uses electrohydraulic energy to stimulate injured or irritated tissue. Its technology is designed to create a broader, deeper therapeutic energy zone than many other ESWT devices, allowing us to treat a wider area when appropriate.
SoftWave is commonly used for stubborn soft-tissue pain and injuries involving the knees, feet, shoulders, elbows, back, neck, and other areas with inflammation, scar tissue, or poor healing response.
The best way to know is through an evaluation — and if you’re not a good candidate, we’ll tell you.
Most patients find it very manageable. Sensitive areas can feel tender during treatment, but we adjust the intensity in real time based on your feedback rather than asking you to push through unnecessary discomfort.
Your plan depends on the condition and how your tissue responds. Most treatment plans fall within a series of 8-12 sessions spaced several days apart, with your response helping guide what comes next.
Some patients notice changes quickly, while others improve more gradually. SoftWave is designed to stimulate a biological repair response, so tissue changes can continue developing for weeks after treatment.
There is typically no downtime. Some patients experience mild redness or soreness in the treated area, which usually settles within a day or two.
We follow your response rather than simply repeating treatment. If you’re not progressing the way we expect, we reassess the plan and determine whether another therapy — or another type of care altogether — makes more sense.
Yes. SoftWave can be used on its own or alongside other care when appropriate.
Within our 3-Point Healing System, we may combine regeneration, pressure relief, and improved motion depending on what your evaluation shows.
Most insurance plans do not cover the SoftWave portion of care, so it is typically self-pay.
We’ll explain pricing and any other costs clearly before moving forward.
SoftWave devices are FDA 510(k) cleared for several indications, including pain reduction, improved blood supply, activation of connective tissue, and certain wound and burn applications.
